Trojan City Music’s Grand Opening!

This Just In: New Massive Bass Consignment Arrives at Trojan City Music!

Sometimes it’s easier for our customers to have us do the heavy lifting.

Such was the case with this newest batch of instruments, which came from the home of a retired player. It made more sense for us to consign the instruments, which allows us to showcase these beautiful basses on behalf of the owner. Comprised of mostly five-string basses, each instrument is unique, though they are all in wonderful shape. Most include accessories and hardshell cases.

Instrument Spotlight: 1954 ES-175

Like stumbling upon a time capsule, this guitar exemplifies a piece of Gibson’s history. The instrument itself is gorgeous, and sounds as wonderful as it looks! The finish and neck show some checking, though still retains a beautiful shine.

This is quite a find. It’s rare to have all accessories present and in as good a shape as the instrument. An original capo, pitch pipe, and Gibson string pack are included as well.

Try Out Every Slide With Our New Dunlop Slide Display!

We’ve brought you a handy way to find the perfect slide! The next time you drop by, check out the slide display by our accessories wall!

Most players shoot for about a half-size larger than their ring size. The materials – glass, plastic, ceramic, brass, chrome, or stainless steel – can make a dramatic difference in tone. There are bottle slides whose lip will hold the slide on your finger; ring slides so the finger is still useful for play; even flanged slides if you happen to have large knuckles that prevent you from using straight cylinders.

Each slide has a number which corresponds to a packaged slide on our wall, making it easy to find the perfect slide for you. Check out the display the next time you drop by!

Thank you.
